Voucher / Discount Code Site Moi?

I've been toying with the idea of doing a discount code site for a while. I used to run one back along which listed sites that offer postable vouchers but got bored with it. But Nadeem has roused my interest in them again.

I've just found the voucher code site is listed in Dmoz and has a PR3, but I also have a PR4 site I'm doing absolutely nothing with. My concern is that this site is still tainted with the black hat stuff that I used to put on there.

So let me know what YOU think I should do ...

Update: Well I've started the process now and I've whacked all my old content and QC'd it into my new discount codes site. I have no doubt that it won't compete with the big boys - but incremental sales are always nice.

I'm going to try a few markteing tactics that others haven't tried - so it'll be interesting to see how well it does.

Now I've got to add up-to-date content and brand it up, as well as work on my other sites.

I reckon Ray, Frosty, Joe, and MVC voted for you to keep the blog :)

Ignore the PR4 site, it doesn't necessarily mean its better than the PR3 site. And anyway, after a few months of working on the PR3 site, you're probably going to increase its PR value anyway.

I've been toying with the same idea for a while. It is definitely a competitive field to be getting into but does have the rewards if it works out.

Personally I think you should go for it on the PR3 site.

@Purple - lol, I don't think Ray, Frosty, Joe, and MVC have got muuch to worry about!!

I've just reformated the content of the old site into a blog format and cleaned out the dead links - I couldn't believe how long ago it was since I updated it - 2004! Apparently Woolworths was with DGM then ;-)

Well there's been some big gadget announcements in the last couple of days so I'll be working on those sites and may just spend half an hour a week adding more content to the vouchers site.

Busy boy :-(
