Watch Your Step If You've Got a Googlable Past

The thing is that the US Government are entitled to not only use 4 standard databases but aslo using "secondary processing" from "open source information" which means "traces of you online" such as Facebook or Flickr or even Google.
I'm no subversent or anything but if you look at the US Government's definition of Terrorism you could be classed as a terrorist for breaking any United State or State law that is dangerous to human life. Even if you don't break any laws in your own country but it is considered dangerous to human life in the states you could be denied entry because you're considered a terrrorist.
Secondly if you try to "influence the policy of government by intimidation or coercion" you're a terrorist.
So don't post on your Facebook that you think that George Dubya is a lieing bastard and you'd like to spank his backside or video yourself driving over the US speed limit in the UK and put it on YouTube because you could be considered a terrorist!
It's back to this Orwellian 1984 thing and it's just getting more pervasive as new technology becomes a greater part of our lives.
Right, I'm off to delete my Facebook profile and get anonymizer. And I better tell my friend in Iraq to stop calling me because our calls will be taped now!

Lee: too funny....very good!!!
I have to say the US is good entertainment with their laws. I do find their immigration cards a hoot... "have you ever been a spy?" Please Please is there anywhere I can find out if any one has said YES! And what happened to them.

Let me point out that I have so many US friends, all smart, cool, sensible, rational...normal!!!!!
So how on earth do they end up with such odd laws?
