The Facebook Economy
Doing my research for my A4UExpo presentation into how affiliates can leverage social media it really hit me that we now live in a "FaceBook" economy.
We now have companies wishing to hire "Facebook Developers" - I never saw that with Myspace. There's FB Exchange which allows Facebook app owners to market their apps on others and pay for the privilege - It's a clever idea and one that I've noticed whilst on Facebook but never twigged that there'll be a Facebook Application marketing broker.
There's also the ad-inventory service set up by Scott Rafer of Feedster, MyBlogLog and Masher and David Cancel who co-founded Compete.com.
Then there's the Facebook lending community called LendingClub - I can't keep up with it all!
You've also got the application marketing and tracking tool that is Adonomics. And the application tracking tool Appsoholic.
The problem now is that whilst writing the presentation, the industry has continued to morph into something so huge that 20 minutes won't do it justice. (It's also my excuse for leaving it to the last minute ;-) )

I wish I was going to a4uexpo I am interested in what you have to say.
As you know I do use Facebook a fair bit, and I am starting to get a few results.
I will PM you about a few things laters.
I am definitely on board with Social Network Marketing.
Cheers, geezer.
I'll drop you a mail later with a few questions.
How's Ziitrend going?
