New Blog Themes - Whatya Think?
I know every man and his dog are Wordpress fans, its understandable as they've got some nice features. But I believe that those blogs are too samey when it comes features and they often over-complicate what should be ultimately simple.
The aim of my affiliate blogs are different to my clients' blogs. For me I like to get people in to the site and out to a range of merchant sites as quickly as possible. I don't want them faffing around with useless crap that doesn't add value.
However, I do know that my lack of design skills are holding them back and making them less linkable. So I'm hiring my bro (McCoy Digital) to do a few quick blog designs that can be quickly changed as I launch new blogs. Whilst keeping it flexible for a new blog (well starting to work on it properly) that will have all the social media, bells and whistles I need to make it a sticky site.
I know that I'll have a bit of a challange to SEO them, but I'll probably do what Kieron does and hide SEO text behind is main header image.
What are your views on the 1st drafts (bearing in mind that they're not supposed to be simple). Click to make larger.
